Aerospace, automotive and clean-energy design work across 8+ years — plus the AI-assisted tools I built to automate engineering tasks.
Designed the ultra-slender steel structure inside three 3D-printed bronze flagpoles — the tallest 51 ft — at JPMorgan Chase's new HQ (270 Park Ave, New York). Wind-class loading, base flange & bolt design, modal, fatigue and buckling analysis in ANSYS Workbench.
One-passenger electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft for urban air mobility. 265 kg total weight, ~50 km range. Designed using CATIA V5, analyzed with Ansys Fluent, XFLR5, and NX Nastran. Recipient of the Newell Prize at Cranfield University.
Airborne wind energy kite aircraft tethered to a ground generator, producing 100KW of clean energy from high-altitude winds. Responsible for empennage structural design, FEA validation in Ansys Workbench, and CAD modeling in SolidWorks.
Aircraft liquid hydrogen storage tank rated for -253°C and 2.06 bar internal pressure. 256 kg optimized weight. Double-layered skin, carbon fiber composite support members, full FEA in MSC Nastran & Patran.
Sense system — a self-erecting nacelle installation platform eliminating the need for specialized cranes. Tower structural design and FEA analysis in Ansys Workbench. Fatigue life analysis of flange bolt connections.
India's first sunroof for Maruti Suzuki — Vitara Brezza 2022 model. Designed the 50 kg structural support system, complex 9-pin assembly with full GD&T analysis. Patented roof rail reinforcement. Design using UGNX & CATIA.
Solar-powered electric rickshaw — India's first on-road solar electric vehicle. 9 panels providing 360W, 50% more mileage, 10,000 km on Delhi roads. Design patent granted November 2014. Featured in Business Line newspaper.
Turned a trusted-but-clunky MIT Fortran solver into a one-click browser tool with an AI assistant — so design iterations that meant fighting a command line now take a minute. Try it live.
Upload a 3D model and get a first-pass aerodynamics answer in minutes — auto-meshing, an OpenFOAM solve and a pressure-mapped 3D view — work that used to need a specialist and days of setup.
